I have to say that being sick (coughing) stinks! I've done some runs this week that were good, but I have to say that it's no picnic. I had to call time on the workouts Friday. I was just plain tired. Tired of coughing, tired of running, just tired. It probably sounds whimpy, but that's about how I've felt this whole week. WHIMPY! Let us all hope that I can shake this "mess" very, very soon or I'm going to loose my mind! On a happier note, J and I got new cell phones yesterday (upgrade time). We decided on iPhones, and I'm in love with mine!! I even didn't go shopping today so that I could stay home and watch football and play with my new toy! I'm such a geek sometimes!!
Blessings and NO MORE COUGHING!,

Update on my "Cancer" friends
Just a quick update, MC's Mom is doing well, but finally decided to shave her head since her hair was falling out by the handfuls. My co-worker got through surgery with great results and will have some radiation treatments in the coming weeks. Please still be in prayer for these wonderful women.

Monday - Oh My Goodness!
Thank heavens I feel better. Being sick stinks, big time. Starting last Saturday before going to a Carolina home game I started coughing and feeling yucky. And it just got worse from there. Sunday I did absolutely nothing, laid on the couch and just wallered in my own sickness. Glad that I had taken a vacation day on Monday. I was still feeling not-so-hot, but I did get up and go for a walk with J. It felt great to get outside. But after that, I was coughing up my lungs for the rest of the week, so no gym for me. So today was the first day that I was back in the gym. And it felt so good to get in some cardio, even though I coughed quite a bit for the first few minutes. But still a good workout. I changed my intervals so that I could get through my normal 45 minutes and it seemed to work out great. So let's hope that this cough stuff goes away quickly (although I know that it'll be at least another week or so, I usually keep a cough for at least 2 weeks). So wish me luck this week!
