So I've been in a weird mood the last couple of days. Don't know for what reason, I haven't done anything differently, just one of those moods I guess. I do have them from time to time, but then again, I think that everyone does. So now that I've gotten that off my chest. I do have to tell you that I am very proud of myself, my time and distance are getting much, much better on the treadmill. I'm hoping that I can get to a point in the spring that I can run a 5K in about 30 minutes, or at least come real close. I think that I will more than likely do one of the Alzheimer's Walks this fall, of course, I am really excited about that. I've been wanting to get involved with them in some way for a while, so what better way than to join one of the walks. So how are you guys doing with your exercising? Oh, and I found out that Bisquik isn't that ladden in fat & calories, so therefore, I made J and I some Drop Biscuits with Bisquik. Really easy, 2 cups of Bisquik & 1 cup of 1% milk, mix and drop onto an ungreased cookie sheet, bake at 450' for about 10 minutes or until golden brown. My mother used to make these quite a bit when I was young and I LOVE them! And they are better for you than traditional rolled biscuits that are made with lard (although I love these too). So next time you get a craving for homemade biscuits make these, just remember not to eat all of them.
Blessings & Biscuits,
Magnolia
