Wednesday - Home Cooked Dinner

So the last several Wednesday nights I've cooked dinner, which I haven't been doing much of since I started/changed my lifestyle/eating habits. I kind of felt bad for my hubby since he really does like my home cook'in. So instead of having date nights out, we've been having date nights in. Not to mention, I think that both of us actually eat less when we eat at home, or at least I know that I do. So here's the recipe for tonight's main dish.

Hamburger & Baked Bean Casserole
1lbs ground beef browned & drained (chuck or lean or grounded turkey would be fine too)
1 large can Bush's Original Baked beans
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 cup mild cheddar cheese
3/4 cup barbeque sauce (original)
2 tsp worchestershire sauce
1/4 cup ketchup
1 tube of 10 count biscuits

After browning the hamburger mix with all ingredients (only use 1/2 of the cheese) together in large bowl. Put mixture in pyrex dish, place rest of cheese on top. Slice biscuits in half and place them on top of casserole. Bake for 25-30 minutes at 375'.

Just this recipe is super easy and really not that bad for you. I made broccoli to go with mine, to get in something green. Great dish to take with you to someone's house as well, especially if they are making wings or grilled chicken.

Blessings & What did you make for supper?
