Wednesday - Stop It, Just Stop It!

Stop what you ask?!?!? Drinking a gazillion sugary, carbonated drinks, that's what. I can't tell you what a difference it's made in the way I feel, both physically and mentally. I was drinking at least 4-5 diet drinks a day before I stopped about a year and a half ago. I had been having stomach problems for years and had tried everything to correct it. Specifically I was having acid reflux attacks and popping Pepcid like tic-tacs. So to make a long story short, I decided to stop drinking all of those carbonated drinks and guess what?!?!? Yep, you guessed it, the reflux stopped! So now, I drink lots & lots of water, low-fat milk & coffee (can't seem to give up the coffee, I'm a coffee freak!). So, my suggestion to help with your eating habits is to cut down or cut out all the Cokes, Dr. Peppers or Mountain Dews, it's not easy and I can almost guarantee a few caffiene headaches, but for me, it was worth it.
